I learned how to use the right tools and materials to apply reversible and readable accession numbers on museum artifacts. 
Collections Inventory
As part of this class assignment, we conducted an inventory at the Curatorial Center of the Peterborough Museum and Archives. I had to take notes on the location, condition, and accession number of various objects in the collection with a partner. We focused on the collection’s military headgear. 
Artifact Documentation Project
I documented an artifact from the Peterborough Museum and Archives backlog using the museum’s standardized worksheet and guidelines for recording information. It included adhering an accession number to the artifact, completing a detailed catalogue worksheet, and creating a digitized artifact image.
NovaMuse Partnership Project
Working in small groups, each student will “adopt” a community museum in Nova Scotia. Via the Collective Acess database, you will review and edit ten records, research and enrich the data for one record, prepare a formal report for the museum on changes made, and recommend improvements. My group partnership was with the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame.
