Archaeology

This page is a general snippet of my archaeological journey in chronological order. Archaeology will be my first love, but it made me realize there is much more than digging holes. Each site is a new way of exploring and understanding the past lives of everyday people like you and me. I feel obligated to teach the public their stories, which have been forgotten in our history books. Speak for those who didn’t have a voice.

Excavation at Woodland Cultural Centre

I spent a day test pitting as a credit for High School. The course which I have participated in was Archaeology and Indigenous studies course. This allowed me to grow as an archaeologist to understand different sites and their circumstances and how it relates to current issues of residential schools.
