As an archaeologist, I quickly discovered that digging wasn’t for me. I instead go where the objects go. Researching objects and educating the public is my happy place. 

My philosophy is that museums are for everyone. Unlike in the past, museums are moving towards being part of community conversations. Sure, looking at old objects can be one-dimensional. But if we use objects in a way that allows us to ask those critical questions relevant to today's society, it encourages visitors to have open-ended discussions. It's a space that doesn't care who you are or where you come from. Where you can exchange knowledge and learn.
